Guillaud’s
first personnal exhibition took place in 1958. He studied on his
own, and is one of the few French artists who has lived exclusively
from his painting since 1958. His work is exhibited in reknowned
galleries in Paris since 1958 (12 personal
exhibitions), and regularly in Switzerland since 1980 (Zurich,
Berne, Genolier/Vaud and Coppet/Genève).
One finds Guillaud’s paintings on the five continents, bought
by anonymous lovers of the arts or great collectors who have visited
one of his 58 personnal exhibitions since the beginning of his
artistic career.
A group of a close admirers, members of the association “Les
Amis de Charles Guillaud” -limited to 20 members-, have
supported Guillaud for more than 40 years, a unique association
in the history of the arts.
